Hillside Naturestay is a premium homestay facility operated by Mr. M V Varghese and his son, Mr. Vipin Varghese.
M.V. Varghese is an Indian Air Force veteran with an illustrious career spanning fifteen years predominantly as a Flight Steward on V.V.I.P. planes. His extensive experience includes serving on diverse aircraft such as TU-124, Boeing-737, HS-748 Avro, and Mi-8 Helicopters.
The following are few of his distinguished Inflight guests: Smt. Indira Gandhi, Shri. Rajiv Gandhi, Shri. Narasimha Rao, Shri. Zail Singh, Shri. R. Venkataraman, Shri. Neelam Sanjiva Reddy, Hon. Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan (Frontier Gandhi), H.H. Pope John Paul II, H.E. King Hussein of Jordan, and various heads of state, chiefs of Army, Navy and Air Force.
Varghese traveled extensively across India and neighboring countries, accompanying VIPs and VVIPs on their journeys. Upon retiring from the Air Force, M.V. Varghese joined Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, where he dedicated twenty-five years to service before retiring.
After retiring, Mr. M V Varghese and his son decided to leverage their extensive knowledge and experience to make a mark in the Indian tourism industry through their dream project, Hillside Naturestay.
Mr. Vipin Varghese is a hospitality professional with a postgraduate degree in Hospitality Management from the University of Wales, UK. With over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, he has worked with several international hotel chains, including Hilton, Park Inn, Radisson, Sarovar, and Ramada, across India, the Middle East, and the United Kingdom.
Nestled in a picturesque setting, this homestay borders a reserve forest and river, offering a serene retreat. Primarily catering to Sabarimala pilgrims and tourists visiting Gavi & Adavi eco-tourism, this property provides a peaceful and scenic escape for all its guests.
